The role:

We’re looking for a passionate, motivated, and intuitive video editor, specialized in Short Form videos, to join our growing creative team.

This role is responsible for editing anywhere from 7 to 21 short form videos a week, depending on clients assigned.

This includes the video editing and graphics creation that go into the short form videos. You will work alongside a writer on the Nomads Cast Media team.

You are a good fit if:

-Balancing strategy and creativity are what you do best.

-You understand the best practices of the hook, pacing, music, storytelling, visual, and aesthetic needs to produce top tier Short Form content week after week.

-You’ve done this before at a high level and are able to show a porftfolio of these edits.

-You understand culture in the USA, and therefore understand how to visually depict words said in a video in a creative and witty way.

Responsibilities:

-Editing up to 21 short form videos per week

-Track performance of your videos

-Pay close attention to comments on your videos

-Staying on top of trends on the various platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)

Skill Requirements:

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Proven success on short form content as and editor for account growth

-Speed and clarity in communication (On Slack)

-Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change

-2+ year of relevant experience in short form video production

-Minimum intermediate experience with Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects

-Openness to revisions and growth.

Job Requirements:

-3 -5 meetings between Monday through Friday

-Meeting deadlines 1 day every week by 5 PM CST on Sunday

-Communication is key, high-level of communication at every level.

Results:

-You will be creating 7 - 21 short form videos a week.

-There will be a a revision week after every week of creation where you'll be expected to revise any video as needed.

Location:

Remote

Pay:

$1000 - $2500 USD / Monthly

-Pay is dependent on skill level & number of videos weekly.

-Pay day is weekly
